Family and subfamily
The first step in purchasing from the catalog is to choose the family and subfamily of the item you are looking for. To access this view click on the “products” heading in the header in the website, and click the “standard tools” heading.
Series definition parameters
To choose an item, it is necessary to initially define the type of series. By “series” we mean a set of information that groups items with the same characteristics. The information you need to define at this stage changes depending on the family and subfamily you have chosen.

Cutting edge finish
Degree of finish of the cutting edge and grooves (e.g., lapped surfaces) and/or specific feature of the cutting edge itself (e.g., chipbreaker)

Indication of the particular group, sub-group or alloy for which the tool, belonging to the series under consideration, is designed to machine
Thread type
Thread type according to designation (Metric, UN, etc.).
TTpe of implementation
Peculiarity of series realization (Ex. There are two types of realization for chamfer cutters: 1-head (sharpened on one end only) or 2-head (sharpened on both ends)
Coating and attack form
